Urban planning completed for 28 ha quarter in Baku White City
Lack of infrastructure, abrupt changes in the level of buildings, dead ends, unregulated parking and polluted environment isolated the territory located in the western part of Baku White City, between Nobel and Babek avenues and Najafgulu Rafiyev and Khagani Rustamov streets.

“Days of Cities” in Geneva
Baku city participated at “Days of Cities” in Geneva
In the framework of the 68th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe “Days of Cities” exhibition in Geneva brought together Baku city Executive Power along with European cities mayors and urban managers. The delegation led by the head of the Executive Authority of Baku Eldar Azizov was represented at the exhibition by three projects demonstrating successful examples of economic, social development and environmental protection of city – Baku White City, Temiz Sheher project and the State Housing Construction Agency. Mr. Eldar Azizov delivered a speech in roundtables.

Infrastructure works
Infrastructure works started in Park District in Baku White City
The construction of Park district within Baku White City at the height of up to 25 meters from the level of the Caspian Sea, continues. Residential complexes, school, kindergarten, business center, as well as underground car parkings are being built in the quarter next to one of the city’s largest parks – Nizami park.

Future architects
Future architects visited Baku White City
Recently the project “Winter School 2019”, organized by the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, took place. A delegation of 40 students and teachers from universities of Kyrgyzstan, Slovakia and Russia attended lectures by teachers of the AASU architecture department and familiarized themselves with ancient and modern architectural monuments of Baku.
