As part of the “Strategic Plan for the Development of the Road Infrastructure of Baku White City Project”, alternative roads are being built to facilitate the connection of Baku White City with the center of the capital.

Baku Transport Agency is completing work on a radical change in traffic on Yusif Safarov street. Two passages have already been made in the separation barrier on Yusif Safarov street. Thus, two new intersections will appear on this street, with Nizami Ganjavi and 28 May streets running perpendicularly. Traffic lights will be installed here.

Nizami Street will be connected with Sabit Orujov Street, and Mehdi Mehtizade Street – with 28 May Street, providing drivers with two new alternative routes in the direction of Baku White City and from White City to the city center. This will significantly prevent traffic congestion in the area.

The project will also create two alternative roads to Uzeyir Hajibeyli street, which will connect Baku White City directly with the city center. This will provide thousands of citizens living and working in Baku White City with a new transport corridor.
